It has been 43 years since a nine-year-old Jerry Howell filled a wheelbarrow with pumpkins harvested from his family farm in Fonthill, Ontario, and sold them to passersby.
Now the Howell Family Pumpkin Farm offers many activities for families to enjoy as well as having Niagara's largest selection of pumpkins, giant pumpkins and fall produce.
Each fall the Howell Family Pumpkin Farm is transformed into a Howln' Theme Area.

Howell's displays were brought to life in 1994 with the addition of the robotic Loch Ness Pumpkin Monster, "Nessy".
The amazing Pumpkin-O-Saurus Rex was born in 1996
In 2004, the corn maze doubled in size and was renamed "Super Corn Cobb's Maze Adventure".
